The Castle

Nestled in the heart of the Norman countryside, this château is much more than a historic residence—it is the echo of the memories and aspirations of Myriam, its owner.

From a young age, she could make out the silhouette of this once-abandoned estate from her family's farm. In her child's imagination, it already had a soul, filled with mystery and enchanting stories that would leave a lasting mark on her journey.

Years later, when she discovered the château in ruins, she felt an immediate attachment and made the choice to bring it back to life. This project became a true personal commitment, a challenge to restore the site’s former glory while preserving its essence. Every detail reflects her respect for the original architecture and her desire to breathe new life into the place.

At a pivotal moment in her life, when everything seemed uncertain, Myriam found strength and inspiration within these walls. This place, long admired from afar, became both a sanctuary and a project for the future. Surrounded by people who share her love for heritage, she has shaped the château in her own image, blending tradition with modernity.

Each room bears the mark of her meticulous work: a harmony between authenticity and contemporary touches. The carefully chosen materials, colors, and furnishings create a subtle balance between past and present, offering a unique atmosphere where time seems to stand still.

Built in 1860 for a religious community, the château has stood the test of time, maintaining a refined and timeless elegance. Unlike the opulence of other buildings from the same period, it stands out for its simplicity and the noble purity of its architectural lines. It perfectly illustrates the evolution of the 19th century, balancing tradition and innovation.

Over the generations, this estate has been home to many families, including a lineage of local pharmacists who lived here while preserving its authenticity. Today, Myriam continues this legacy, adding her own personal touch.
